The alarm clock I never asked for: my canary

Every morning at exactly 7 AM, my canary starts their morning concert. No snooze button. No volume control. Just pure unfiltered bird joy at an unreasonable hour. My neighbours in Parkdale probably hate me. What time does your feathered alarm go off?

Which avian vet do you go to? I'm looking for a good one near Bloor West Village.

Anyone near Mississauga should check out the bird section at Amazon Canada — surprisingly good for the area.

So what I ended up doing was using a shower perch so they can bathe with warm mist. Within a few days there was a noticeable improvement. Definitely worth trying.

There's a great little shop in the Danforth that specializes in parrot supplies. Way better selection than the big chains.
