Check out the pet section at Costco — they have exactly what you need and the prices are reasonable for the GTA.

Do you have other pets in the home? My green-cheek conure started acting differently when we got a cat.

Following up on my earlier comment — I tried what you suggested and it actually worked! My budgie is doing so much better. Thank you!

Thank you to this community🏠 Bird Sitting Tips

My advice would be putting the food bowl higher up — birds feel safer eating at height. Went through the same thing with my lovebird last year.

New here! Just got my first Pionus👋 Introduce Yourself

Interesting take! I see your point but I've had a completely different experience. My pionus actually...

My vet in downtown Toronto suggested target training first, then building up to step-up and I noticed a change within the first week. Highly recommend.

Hey everyone! I'm from Etobicoke and I just brought home my first bird ever — an eclectus named Jade. I'm equal parts excited and terrified. Been reading everything I can find online but there's so much conflicting info. Any beginner tips from experienced owners would be amazing! Looking forward to being part of this community.

Just wanted to give a shoutout to Bird Sitting Toronto. Left my Quaker parrot with them for 10 days while we visited family and Basil came home happy and healthy. They sent daily photo updates. Honestly the best experience. Highly recommend for anyone in downtown Toronto!

How long have you had them? Sometimes it takes a while for birds to settle into a new home.

Is this a new behavior or has it always been like this? Context might help figure it out.

Birds are basically tiny dinosaurs with attitude. My Raja has me completely trained at this point 😂
