This is one of those topics where I think there genuinely is no right answer. Both sides have valid points.

My budgie Tiki has been super bitey the last week. Nothing changed in the environment that I can think of. Could it be hormonal? They're about 7 years old.

One thing that really helped was offering chop first thing in the morning when they're hungriest. Give it a try — can't hurt!

Update: took everyone's advice and things are improving. Echo is slowly coming around. This forum is the best.

My Peaches went through a phase like this around 1 year. I was terrified but it passed. Birds are weird sometimes lol.
