How did you choose your bird's name?

My Amazon parrot is named Luna because... honestly I don't even remember anymore. It just felt right. How did you pick your bird's name? Was it planned or did the name just appear the moment you saw them? I love hearing the stories behind bird names.

Reading this hit home. My Amazon parrot went through the same phase around the same age. What helped us was stuffing paper towel rolls with treats for foraging. Also just accepting that birds are gonna bird, you know?

Revisiting this thread because I have more info now. After talking to my vet, they confirmed exactly what people here said. This community knows their stuff.
