How long do green cheek conure typically live?

Just got my green-cheek conure and I want to make sure I'm prepared for the long haul. What's the typical lifespan? Any tips for keeping them healthy into old age?

So I had this exact problem about a year ago. Let me share what I learned. The key thing is adding a full-spectrum Arcadia UV light near the cage. A lot of people also recommend reading "The Parrot Problem Solver" by Barbara Heidenreich.
